I have thought about bringing him back here except it's a 22 hour drive and I am already taking my two dogs with me on my next trip in July. What if you take him back and then YOU place him in rescue? I know you live far away, but is it even an option? As like everyone else stated, rescue is the best way to go. If she places him herself that is asking for trouble especially with him still being intact. Any dog coming into HCBW is firstly matched against homes on our waiting list.
I’m a happy pup when I can expend my energy outside. I’m up for just about anything with my humans. But other dogs make me anxious, and I tend to overact a bit. I’m not aggressive, just nervous and choosy when it comes to making animal friends. I’ve been working on that and making progress! In fact, I’ve become BFFs with my foster dog brother.
Sweet Senior Boxer Dog Seeks 2 Years Foster Care in Alexandria Virginia – Supplies Included – Adopt BJ
Fostering is not a lifetime commitment, its a commitment to save a life. Stella needs a quite chilled home with maybe one man on his own or even a couple in a quiet home with no visitors or kids. Spud is ok with other dogs out and about, but he would rather be the only dog in the home. He has now been treated and it has cleared up beautifully.

He can get very over excited and boisterous when first playing so is best to leave him to tire himself out first before continuing to play. Dino has become very reactive towards other dogs at last chance so needs a lot of gentle slow socialising. Once Dino is calm he loves a good stroke and gentle fuss. Dino loves his walks and loves to bark at squirrels running up trees. Dino is a big chap who is often misunderstood by people seeing him in the kennel environment as he can get stressed easily.
STELLA STILL IN KENNELS WITH NO HOME OFFERS AT ALL
It’s OK if you stopped scrolling because I have gorgeous eyes. I also have a zest for life, and my heart is overflowing with love. If you long for a loyal dog breed that will never leave your side, then let’s chat.

Whippy loves her owners and will stand up for a cuddle and cling on to your arm for attention. In the home Whippy can be very lazy in between walks and loves a big bed to lounge on. Whippy gets very protective of her owners in and out of the home so needs a very understanding owner with few visitors. She must be the only pet in an adult only home. Whippy is good with bigger dogs but not with small fluffy dogs as she is an ex-racer and has a very high prey drive.
Our Adoptees
He has had a very unsettled start in life and needs some stability with someone who is experienced with boisterous dogs. He needs a loving but firm hand as he can often get frustrated, so will needs lots of training and mental stimulation to help calm him down. Mac needs an ADULT ONLY home with experienced dog owners to help him with his training and who can handle his temper tantrums. Alfie is an extremely nervous guy who would love a home in a quiet rural area. He can be very anxious of traffic and people passing by his house.

But I stay pretty active doing agility training, swimming, walking along trails, playing with toys and hanging out with my pack of doggy friends. Because of my health conditions, I require more hands-on care and daily attention than some dogs. My foster family says caring for a dog like me has been extremely rewarding. And I don’t let a day go by without showering my human with sweet, tiny kisses.

He has been fine with chickens, not so sure about cats. He is a chaser of mops and stealer of cloths you are using should he get the opportunity. One of his other ‘fun things to do’ is chasing feet – especially slippers. He is strong on the lead and only knows a few signs.
Mine is the ability to keep your feet warm when you’re sleeping. Just like humans, we can experience health issues as we get older. I have some arthritis in my hips, an enlarged heart (don’t worry—it’s not causing any issues) and some extra protein in my urine. Frida has some limping of her rear limbs, a heart murmur and kidney issues. Regular vet checkups are a must to monitor our conditions.
